Strategic and Organizational Communication

This area of study helps students to understand and interact effectively with the organizations that they engage with or depend on for important life goals. Students are encouraged to think strategically about how organizations can use technology to catalyze constructive, innovative, and mission-driven practices. Further, students gain insight into the data gathered and practices used to spur change in stagnant organizations and apply methods to increase communication effectiveness in a variety of organizational domains. 

Coursework in Strategic and Organizational Communication is particularly applicable to careers in consulting, business management, public administration, nonprofit management, and public relations.
