Debate Society

Northwestern's Debate Society is a rigorous program with both junior varsity and varsity levels. Debators engage in intercollegiate competitions, typically traveling to seven to ten tournaments each academic year. There are also opportunities to debate on campus in public debates and at Northwestern's Owen L. Coon Memorial Debate Tournament.

Dean's Advisory Council

The Dean's Advisory Council (DAC) is a group of undergraduate students representing each School of Communication department in quarterly meetings with Dean E. Patrick Johnson. Four students are included from each department, representing the freshman, sophomore, junior and senior classes.
