Sarah Penzell’s primary clinical interests lie in the areas of acquired neurogenic disorders of speech, language, and cognition; stuttering and cluttering; and gender affirming voice and communication. Prior to working as a clinical instructor at Northwestern, she served as a rehabilitation speech-language pathologist at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (now Shirley Ryan AbilityLab).
