Mary M. Poole joined the faculty in 1990. Her professional performance credits include acting and directing with various Chicago Off-Loop theatres. Her principle areas of research focus on acting theory, and the drama of Shakespeare and contemporary British playwrights. She has published in Communications, the journal of the International Brecht Society.
