Dialogue with the Dean

The Dean hosted quarterly interview events to spotlight emerging and established communicators who are advancing the future of their fields, challenging paradigms and promoting social justice.

In the inaugural 2020-21 season, guests were scholars examining race, ethnicity and class and how these identifiers fit into, and often clash with, our increasingly digital existence. The following seasons spotlighted artists who use their platforms to tell forgotten or ignored stories—who create to educate as much as entertain.
