Karen works as a clinician and faculty member at Northwestern University's Center for Audiology, Speech, Language, and Learning (NUCASLL). Her current clinical interest lies in supporting people with persistent cognitive-communication impairments resulting from concussion, and improving communication skills for those with aphasia and motor speech disorders.

Karen Kinderman

Karen Kinderman's primary clinical interests lie in the areas of acquired neurogenic disorders of language and cognitive communication, motor speech disorders, and dysphagia. In addition, she works on speech intelligibility with adults from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
