Professor
Jeremy Birnholtz’s research focuses on human-computer interaction issues, such as attention, online identity, and collaboration through the use of technology. He has lectured and published widely on subjects that include LGBTQ+ experiences online, young people’s attention to instant messaging, and deception in text messaging. Jeremy has served several stints as a Visiting Professor at Facebook, working closely with several product teams.
