Julie Marie Myatt

Julie Marie Myatt is a lecturer in the Department of Theatre. Her plays have been produced at Oregon Shakespeare Festival, The Kennedy Center, Guthrie Theatre, South Coast Repertory, Magic Theatre and Cornerstone Theatre, among others. She has had commissions from Roundabout Theatre, Denver Center Theatre Company, Yale Rep, Cornerstone Theatre Company, ACT Seattle, and South Coast Repertory. Myatt received a Walt Disney Studios Screenwriting Fellowship, a Jerome Fellowship, a McKnight Advancement Grant, and was the Mellon Foundation Playwright-in-Residence at South Coast Repertory 2013-2016. She is an alumna of New Dramatists.
