John Haas

John Haas is a lecturer in the Department of Theatre and an academic advisor for the department. His professional work focuses on music theatre repertoire, vocal music technique, and audio production. He received a Master's Degree in Vocal Performance from the Northwestern University School of Music in 2004 and has an active musical theatre voice instruction / coaching career. He appeared in Jeff Award winning productions of LES MISÉRABLES and SWEENEY TODD and was recently a featured performer in the American Music Theatre Project’s reading of the Boublil and Schönberg musical, LA REVOLUTION FRANÇAISE. John is an Associate Chair of the Jones Fine and Performing Arts Residential College and a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing. John is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
